Mr. Chip McConville is Executive Vice President and Secretary of JB&A. Mr. McConville was elected to these positions effective 1 July 2008. Mr. McConville continues to serve as Group Vice President for the National Geospatial Intelligence Agency (NGA)/National Reconnaissance Office (NRO) Support Group and was selected for this position effective 1 July 2003. In this capacity Mr. McConville leads the company’s largest Group both in terms of revenue and profit and was instrumental in building the team that won the company’s largest contract ever in 2006. Prior to joining JB&A in 1999, Mr. McConville served as a Senior Program Manager for a large Information Technology firm (Sterling Software, Inc.) oriented on the NGA customer. Mr. McConville led various infantry, cavalry, and intelligence organizations while serving over 25 years as an Army officer with multiple assignments in both tactical units and the Pentagon.
Mr. McConville earned a Bachelor of Science, Engineering degree from the United States Military Academy, a Master of Science Degree, Industrial Engineering with emphasis in Operations Research Systems Analysis (ORSA) from the Ohio State University, and a Master of Science, Business Administration degree from the University of Northern Colorado. He also successfully completed the US Army Infantry Officers' Basic Course, the US Army Military Intelligence Officers' Advanced Course, the US Army Command & General Staff College, the Armed Forces Staff College, and the US Army War College.
Mr. McConville is a member in good standing of the following professional and fraternal organizations:
Military Intelligence Corps Association (MICA), US Geospatial Intelligence Foundation (USGIF), Association of the United States Army (AUSA), Military Officers Association of America (MOAA), Armed Forces Communications-Electronics Association (AFCEA), The Retired Officers Association (TROA), Alumni Association of the US Army War College (Life Member), the American Legion, The Ohio State University Alumni Association (Life Member), and The United States Military Academy Alumni Association (Life Member).
